Armenia – Mobilizing Action Against Corruption

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Armenia awarded Casals & Associates the Mobilizing Action Against Corruption (MAAC) contract in July 2007 Whose 3 year program has been extended to July of 2012. The purpose of the MAAC project, a component of the U.S. development assistance program to the Republic of Armenia, is to reduce corruption in the country. MAAC programs purpose is to reduce corruption by:

Providing Armenians with opportunities that would enable them to help combat corrupt practices that they encounter
Changing social attitudes and behavior among youth and adults to help them become attuned to the consequences of corruption and more likely to oppose or confront corruption
Enabling systems-level changes to prevent or reduce corruption
