Ethics Training Program for the U.S. Department of Commerce Based on C&A’s
successful corporate ethics training program for business leaders from
several countries in Central Asia and other Newly Independent States of
the former Soviet Union in 2002, the firm was awarded a contract to develop
a follow-on training program for 2004. Under the contract with the U.S.
Department of Commerce (DOC) International Trade Administration’s
Office of Eastern Europe, Russia and Independent States (OEERIS), C&A
arranged for the leaders—selected by the DOC based on their professional
and educational achievements—to come to Washington, D.C., for four
weeks of corporate ethics training. The program included study tours of
several American corporations who have successfully implemented similar
ethics programs and development of a comprehensive corporate governance
ethics manual for use in emerging markets throughout the developing world.
To carry out the training program, C&A worked in close collaboration
with the Ethics
and Policy Integration Center of Washington, D.C. |
