Workshop
Support for the Federal Emergency Management Agency and U.S.
Army
Under a second successive subcontract to Innovative Emergency Management, Inc., C&A is providing workshop and public outreach support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and U.S. Army for the billion dollar Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP). CSEPP is one of the nation's largest emergency preparedness efforts, involving eight chemical weapons stockpile sites, 10 states, 40 counties and more than one million people. C&A has helped manage the CSEPP National Workshop each year since 2005. The three-day workshop, focusing on emergency preparedness, brings together representatives from FEMA, the U.S. Army, and the eight communities across the United States where the U.S. Army’s remaining stockpiles of chemical weapons are located. C&A’s services included pre-event, on-site, and post-event support.
