International GeoExchange Teleconference From 1996 through 2000, C&A organized and produced a series of two-hour international teleconferences about GeoExchange (geothermal, ground source) heating and cooling systems for the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium.
The last teleconference in the series, entitled “GeoExchange: Bringing Efficiency to State, County, and Municipal Buildings,” was broadcast live via satellite to government officials in the United States, Canada, and Mexico on Nov. 15, 2000 and was also available on the Internet through live audio-video streaming. Hosted by Richard Trethewey of Public Television's "This Old House," the event profiled state and local facilities using GeoExchange and allowed viewers to participate in a live question-and-answer session with a panel of state and local officials, contractors, and system designers. Various videos on GeoExchange produced by C&A are now available on the Geothermal Heat Pump Consortium website. |
