C&A
supported the planning and development of a successful social
marketing campaign aimed at increasing the flu immunization rates
of African-American Medicare beneficiaries for the Health Care
Financing Administration (HCFA). As part of this campaign, HCFA
contracted C&A to plan and conduct four annual conferences
on influenza and pneumococcal adult immunization. A collaborative
initiative of HCFA, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
and the National C oalition
for Adult Immunization, these conferences focused on increasing
immunizations to improve the overall health of Medicare beneficiaries.
For both the campaign and conferences, C&A designed and produced
a series of outreach materials, which included tote bags, invitations,
training materials, and brochures.
