provided logistical and administrative support for focus group, advisory,
grant review, and other ad-hoc meetings for the Institute
of Museum and Library Services (IMLS),
an independent U.S. federal grant-making agency dedicated to creating
and sustaining a nation of learners. These meetings provided museum and
library professionals with opportunities to discuss and evaluate IMLS
grant applications and/or technological developments and other issues
of common concern. In some cases, the meetings focused on sharing ideas
on ways to ensure that the technology and information IMLS provides to
the public is as accurate and up-to-date as possible.
