International Anti-Corruption Conference in Mexico

The international “Mexico Against Corruption” conference—organized by C&A and held from April 15-19, 2002, in Mexico City, Mexico—gathered national and international anti-corruption experts to discuss strategies to curb corruption. A collaborative effort of the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Organization of American States, the Government of Mexico Secretariat of Comptrollership and Administrative Development, and the Mexican Institute of Internal Auditors, the workshop for 300 internal auditors from Mexico's largest government agencies was broadcast live over the Internet by the Edusat system as well as Mexico's national Congress TV channel.
