2006 Annual State Health Insurance Program National Conference
C&A provided comprehensive conference planning and support services for the 2006 Annual State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) National Conference in Denver, Colo. Under SHIP, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) provides state organizations with grants for Medicare health insurance advisory services. CMS uses the annual conference as an outreach tool to provide programmatic and administrative updates to these state organizations as well as inform them of the best approaches for relating to the Medicare population and their families. C&A’s support to CMS included coordinating the planning committee meetings, sourcing speakers, producing conference promotional materials and hand-outs, and managing conference logistics and online registration.
