Assessing Corruption in Cambodia

C&A completed a U.S. Agency for International Development assignment to assess corruption in Cambodia. C&A examined the degree to which corruption exists in Cambodia; the types of corruption most harmful to democratic governance; and the capacity of government, civil society, and the media to combat and expose corruption. C&A also assessed which types of donor assistance would be most effective in reducing corruption and promoting transparency in Cambodia. The “Cambodian Corruption Assessment,” the USAID report C&A prepared, was referenced in articles in Newsweek, the Asia Times, and USAID’s Frontlines newsletter.
