FEATURES

KIT VERTEX is a circular backdraft damper designed for vertical installation on roof-mounted fans with vertical air discharge.
The assembly incorporates gravity-operated dampers with a peripheral sealing gasket and an upper protection guard (RP), providing an effective solution to prevent air backflow and protect the installation against water ingress when the fan is not operating.
Manufactured from steel with a Magnelis® finish, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and a long service life, even in demanding outdoor environments.
The fan is mounted on a square galvanised steel base frame protected against corrosion with an epoxy resin coating.

APPLICATION

Designed for installation on roof-mounted axial tubular fans (HM-HC), KIT VERTEX enables vertical air discharge while maintaining system tightness when the fan is not operating.
During operation, the airflow pressure opens the dampers and creates a dynamic barrier that helps prevent rainwater from entering the system. When the fan stops, the dampers close by gravity onto the peripheral sealing gasket, ensuring the tightness of the assembly and preventing both air backflow and water ingress.
In addition, the assembly incorporates a drainage system that allows rainwater accumulated on the dampers to be evacuated when they are in the closed position, preventing water retention and contributing to the long-term durability of the system.
Suitable for continuous operating temperatures of up to 200 °C.
